Would not stay again!

Liked: Location is great for easy access to many Newcastle points of interest. There is an exceptional pub feed not far away at "The Winner's Circle" within the shopping village.
Disliked: Think Temu version cruiseship room! Toilet and shower stunk, no fan/handbasin in the "ensuite" We didn't shower because of the warning upon check-in that the steam causes the smoke alarms to go off and it costs you $1000... the room beside us set the fire alarms off at 7:10am waking us up.Our linen was clean but the room was not. There were brown smears on the wall at the bunk bed level, only shelves were wiped, not surfaces that collect grime (handles, bed rails) The air conditioner in our room was not synced to the remote and the settings couldn't be changed from cold. When I told the staff he just said 'some of them are playing up' so the first night we had No Heater and it was 6°C outside... I used the towels around the window to attempt to stop the cold air entering. The following day when I asked reception for a heater the lady said she could come and re-code the air-conditioner.

Needed sleep

Liked: room 115.Tv would read every channel or volume changes.Hear people above and side rooms at 3am.Hear traffic, the window doesn't have a good enough seal. 4amgot in after 10 am and got my key fine and to the room.
Disliked: Someone to fix the issues, not sure what else you could do moving forward
