Liked: Location was perfect and the access cards allowed entry and exit at all hours, through a secured door. The room itself was small, but perfectly laid out for a short stay in a central part of the city.
Disliked: The decor could be updated but for the price and location, I really can't complain about it

If you're looking to visit...

Liked: From the get-go the staff were friendly and accommodative when I had submitted some questions online about late checkout and the shower. Then at the hotel the staff were all friendly and helpful regardless of the time of day/night. The room was as described - nothing special, but clean and definitely did the trick for a budget stay in Melb. Cannot go wrong with the location either! Was so easy to get around the city from the location, either via foot or tram. Oh and it's like a 10 min walk from the Southern Cross Railway station (or less by tram!) so was very easy to get from an airport Skybus to there.
Disliked: The pigeons fighting on top of the air-conditioning unit outside my window lol. That was very distracting, buthardly the staff's fault haha. My only real complaint about the stay was the button on the toilet. Staff were happy and quick to organise someone to assess and fix the stuck button; unfortunately though the same issue happened a few times and I didn't bother informing them as they said just to hold down both buttons (didn't work). Wish a better quality button/cistern was installed.

Liked: The best accommodation i had while I was on holidays. Friendly service and they there when you need help, heritage area which i enjoy too. Leanord was a friendly customer service experience, thank you Leanord and the staff, I definitely be back on my next holidays.

Liked: Cheap, central location, friendly staff, easy to access building &
Disliked: Uncomfortable bed and the room overlooking an alley that had constant traffic at all hours of the night / early morning from trucks, cars, etc.
