Liked: Firstly the pictures were not accurate at the time of booking. They referred to the sister hotel in Giessen, not this hotel in Linden (8K away). On reaching this hotel, late check-in was supposedly available by computer. Staff availability seems to be very sparse. However this did not work. The system freezes at the point where you enter your passport expiry details. So you end up standing outside at midnight unable to check in. We finally managed it by checking in by mobile phone. (This in itself is a real faff). This problem is mentioned on reviews from two months back. I spoke to staff about it in the morning. She admitted it hadn’t been working for a week, but they had to wait for someone from IT to fix it. The room is basically a basic Ibis hotel, as B&B took it over a few months ago. It’s clean but very basic. No soap to wash your hands. The pillows are absolutely terrible. I ended up folding towels to make a usable pillow. The windows are left open on arrival. Room was freezing. The heating system only blows out cold air.

Liked: It's OK. Not good., not bad. Just OK. Close to motorway and a few shops and fast food restaurants near by
Disliked: It is an older building with a lick of fresh paint. That's it. Not good not bad. just average.

Liked: Very friendly staff, decent breakfast, free parking.
Disliked: Shower and sink are in the same room as the bed. With bunk bed the room looked more like dormitory than hotel. It is overpriced for the service.
