Location was fine. Close to food 24 hours and around the corner from the service station. Bathroom was terrible like being on a small ship. Sink was in the bedroom, separate from the bathroom. No elevator.

Liked: Close to fast food and petrol station.
Disliked: The bathroom was terrible. It was like being on a ferry over to Tasmania. The sink in the bedroom area was not ideal, the air conditioning was not easy to control. When checking in the staff member didn't even say welcome - no eye contact.

Liked: It was affordable at a peak time of year for the Easter Show.
Disliked: The exterior was incredibly grotty, rubbish is strewn around the parking lot and entrance. Rubbish bins were overflowing.The reception/ breakfast area were the only clean part of the common areas in the hotel.The hotel is generally unkept & the hallways are filthy, the stairwell to the second floor is dirty & filled with what looks like abandoned luggage, while also being used as a linen storage area.The upper hall way was absolutely filthy, we were there for 4 nights and food debris that was there on day 1 was still there in day 4. The double bed was made up, clean and comfortable. The upper bunk wasn’t made up, and the sheets were just strewn on top. Having had to retrieve a shoe from under the bed, I think I can safely say that the cleaning staff have never moved the bed to vacuum underneathIn quite a while.The bathrooms while tiny were clean and presentable.We went to start the kettle for a cup of tea having checked in at night and the power went out and the PowerPoint started to spark.The young woman at reception kindly sorted the power out and while she never delivered a new kettle as she had promised, she did allow us to access hot water from the breakfast buffet.The poor girl was left to deal with numerous disgruntled customers, very patiently.I felt sorry for her.

Disliked: It felt like a $160 per night hostel which was more than a little disappointing for the amenities and service that was received. For a room that small with the sink outside the bathroom, half a roll of toilet paper and a shower head that was at my chin, I was expecting fresh towels and a made bed.
