The convenience and comfort of...

Liked: The location is pretty good: safe area, even late evening, very convenient for city centre and station. I was able to check in before 3.00. I was also able to sort out a few emails in the foyer seating area after I checked out. Breakfast was very reasonable. Shower was spacious. For the money and booking at quite short notice, this was good value.
Disliked: I would have liked a kettle in my room, so should have noted that on booking and upgraded accordingly and if possible.

An unpleasant stay

Liked: Close to city centra and station
Disliked: The chiller unit didnt work to cool the room meaning i had to have the window open. Unfortunately this meant i couldnt sleep because of noise from the main road and the faint odour of canal/river sewageThe smell permeated the entire hotelThe reception staff were not friendly
