An option for an overnight...

Liked: Close to historic city and an option for a overnight stay.
Disliked: A bit noisy, very basic - was my first time in the budget option and did not liked it.

You get what you pay...

Liked: It was cheapThe room had the bare necessities It was close to a supermarket The staff were friendly on the whole (see below)
Disliked: Location was a bit far from the centre especially if taking a taxi as it had to go a long way round to avoid the main pedestrian bridge.One of the staff members working on Friday 18th in the morning was extremely rude to us and refused to store our luggage. His general attitude was very unwelcoming and very unlike the other staff members who were super friendly.

Comfortable and functional stay!

Liked: This hotel was what it said ‘on the tin’ comfortable beds, reasonable location near a tram stop or a 15 min walk across the bridge into the centre!
Disliked: Would have liked a seperate bathroom and a larger actual room ( the sink and shower were in the main room!)

Very good

Liked: Very basic room as expected. Clean and very well prepared, it met our expectations. Breakfast was surprisingly good. On site parking is a massive bonus.
Disliked: The hotel was good and met expectations - good value. The only downside is the 'postcode' for the property takes you to an area which is at least two blocks away from the hotel - very frustrating.

2-star budget hotel good for...

Liked: Staff was friendly. Location was outside of the centre, easy parking, and a Carrefour supermarket at the location. Bed was comfortable for me (hard mattress and good pillows), shower cabin had good water pressure. Room was very clean. Housekeeper was very kind to help me get my large awkward bag out of the room as I was leaving.
Disliked: Triple room is very tight for three adults (2 parents and 17 year old son). Shower cabin is directly in the room and offers no privacy. Incidentally, I had booked an extra room due to having a cold. I am happy I did because it wasn't obvious from the photos that the shower was out in the open.Top bunk bed was not made up.The breakfast area was very small. Food offering was very limited and they ran out of plates and knives, so we had to improvise.
