Disliked: small room. - but that's in the price

Opposite train station. Excellent for...

Liked: Opposite Besançon train station. Very convenient to travel by train.Compact room for 1 night and easy life.
Disliked: A bit far from tourist places and need to use local transportation but it's just in front of the hotel.

It is not a stay...

Liked: Close to train and tram stations.
Disliked: The thin, cheap mattress is not fit for a child’s weight; the lighting is problematic unless your part possum; just one internet device could be connected at a time; and a lack of adult-size table and chair; instead, you will find a TV table and stool, that's all (In a room with beds for three); lack of adequate shelving for your things or suitcases except on and off the bed; inability to control the buildings forced heating which time of year you’d think an open a window might cure, but thanks to the Pizza Parlor next door the constant stench of burning firewood poured through the opening from lunch into the night. There was the tram sound, but that's nothing compared to the noise you might likely hear from the guests around and above you. Good luck in the summer staying here. This review has nothing to do with the staff; no doubt they have little, if any, hand in designing or furnishing this uncomfortable mess and hallmark of yet another Accor property.

In general very good.

Liked: Room is simply furnished but there are everything needed.Breakfast is very simple but delicious. Location is perfect and easy reachable.
Disliked: In the evening audibility is very good, you may hear the neighbors and what is happening outside your room.

Exceptional

Liked: I had a pleasant experience during my stay at the hotel. The staff was exceptional - friendly and helpful. The room was generally good. On the positive side, the hotel's location is excellent, with a superb pizzeria nearby and easy access to the city center. Free parking was also convenient and hassle-free. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to try the breakfast, but overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay
Disliked: although there was a minor inconvenience with the showerhead not being properly fixed.

Good place to stay for...

Liked: The hotel is right across the train station and within walking distance to other places in the city. The room was a bit bigger than I thought and staffs were always friendly. Plus, my room was ready at noon, which is the time I got there.
Disliked: The shower "doors" are your typical european shower doors, as in, they do not close the whole way. Which means you may get parts of the bathroom wet.But to me, I felt the bigger problem was the window. My room faced the street and the windows was not sound proof. I could still hear streetcar beeps and other vehicles noise as well.
