Simple, affordable, comfortable.

Liked: My wife and I stayed in 5 different hotels during our visit to France. What makes Ibis a good choice is that parking is free (not the case in any of the other hotels we stayed at), our clean and comfortable (if small) bedroom had a/c. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming. When I travel with students in France our tour company often uses Ibis (or the similar Kyriad) which makes sense. It's affordable, accessible, has breakfast, and is really all you need.
Disliked: The breakfast wasn't the greatest. Granted I came down to the dining area relatively late (9:00am) and the croissants were gone. My wife had coffee, I had OJ and pain au chocolat. Other than that, our stay was just fine. We are budget travelers so we really don't need anything else.
