The Ibis Temple Meads is a great budget hotel if you have tickets for a gig at The Marble Factory. It's within walking distance. The rooms are clean, the bed comfortable and staff are friendly and efficient.

Liked: Location for our venue; a clean room and comfortable bed and friendly and efficient staff.
Disliked: Not for the budget price.

Liked: Large, clean, comfortable room in a modern hotel 5 minutes walk from Bristol Temple Meads station. Excellent breakfast. Great value and very convenient for central Bristol. Excellent.
Disliked: Nothing. All good.

Ideal Location - Muggy Room

Liked: Really ideal location between the train station and the attractions of Bristol. The excellent coffee & donut shop nearby was a highlight!The room was very clean & we liked the clothing rail setup, though the plug for the kettle couldn’t reach a socket from its shelf. After we discovered the extension lead behind the curtain on day 2/3 of our stay we really appreciated it.
Disliked: The room was stiflingly hot and the ventilation was so poor that even my face cloth didn’t dry after a full day! Though the fan that we asked for at reception did help, it was impossible to sleep comfortably against the awful foam mattress toppers. We woke up throughout the night and in a puddle of sweat each morning! I left our stay with an awful cough which has “dampened” an otherwise lovely trip.

Liked: Ideal location to get to and fro to Bristol Temple Meads. Have stayed here twice for that reason primarily and has always been good value for money.
Disliked: Not the hotels fault but on this occasion there was construction work going on around it.

A very comfortable low budget...

Liked: Really nice and generous breakfast. There were a lot of varieties of food and beverages. The room was spacious and well maintained. Bathroom was clean. Bed was comfortable and nice.
Disliked: There was a step up to the bathroom, which might not be suitable for the elderly or disabled. The instructions of direction to the hotel given on the website were not the best or shortest route - a long way through Cattle Market Road, Feeder Road and Avon Street. I took the shortest way via Meads Reach Bridge. I suggest updating the information on the website.

Disliked: I found it somewhat expensive (but maybe that's UK) You had to pay the breakfast separately.No plug next to the bed.
