My first stay at Ibis. The reason for my trip was a special night out - that was terrible. BUT the comfort and excellence of The Ibis more than made up for it. Thank you, I enjoyed my weekend. Also good value.
Liked: All aspects. Reception, clarity of info. Plenty of staff. Super room and facilities therein. And hot water.

Good, clean hotel; friendly staff; plenty of choice for breakfast; close to Marble Factory and Bristol Quays - excellent.
Liked: Clean; friendly staff; good breakfast; can’t go wrong, close to concert venue.

The Ibis Temple Meads is a great budget hotel if you have tickets for a gig at The Marble Factory. It's within walking distance. The rooms are clean, the bed comfortable and staff are friendly and efficient.
Liked: Location for our venue; a clean room and comfortable bed and friendly and efficient staff.
Disliked: Not for the budget price.

Awful.
Liked: Didn't stay long was literally just a pit stop before an early flight but it seemed clean and the bar area was nice.
Disliked: Where do I start. Booked through booking.com and paid via their app. Receptionist asked for payment on arrival. She was polite but insisted payment hadn't been made. We then got a call from them during dinner asking for a 3 way phone call with booking.com and Ibis to rectify the issue. I reluctantly stopped eating to take the call and they disconnected it. Multiple emails continued into our holiday and it still isn't rectified now. It ruined our short stay at the hotel and tarnished the start of our holiday. I stopped responding after a while because it was getting ridiculous. I have sent a new message since I have returned home advising I will take it further if I am charged a second time but I am yet to receive a response. What should have been a well needed stress free holiday turned into the complete opposite. Booking.com are at fault for the payment and messages but Ibis are also at fault for how it has been dealt with. Asking for a 3 way phone call during an evening meal on the only night we were staying is unacceptable and its for this reason I will not be choosing Ibis for future stays.

Disliked: Building work in progress which we hadn’t been informed about, very noisy during dayOn the whole staff were very helpful but one member of kitchen staff was dressed inappropriately ie: his trousers were hanging down at back !!!! Not a pleasant sight when having breakfast
