Good, clean hotel; friendly staff; plenty of choice for breakfast; close to Marble Factory and Bristol Quays - excellent.

The Ibis Temple Meads is a great budget hotel if you have tickets for a gig at The Marble Factory. It's within walking distance. The rooms are clean, the bed comfortable and staff are friendly and efficient.

Liked: Location for our venue; a clean room and comfortable bed and friendly and efficient staff.
Disliked: Not for the budget price.

Brilliant stay in a comfortable...

Liked: The location was just down the road from the train station, which was perfect for us. The room was very comfortable and cosy, used the space well despite being a small room (which i thought was amazing). Felt very safe. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Disliked: Limited food for dinner (we didn'thave time to enjoythe breakfast). Very much enjoyed the dinner ourselves but if you don't like/fancy pizza or curry, you're a little stuck.

It was basic, but adequate....

Liked: Staff friendly and helpful. Room was clean. The duvet was a good weight, not too heavy which is often the case with hotels. Shower was surprisingly spacious.Close proximity to train station was a plus. It was quiet in the street outside.
Disliked: Room was characterless and more basic than I was expecting. There was a chemical smell in the room which made my eyes smart - possibly an air freshener of some kind? Had to have the window open on a cold night to lessen the adverse effect.

Disliked: Bathroom too small!!! Walls had holes in it. Right light switch by the bed didn’t work and had a stain on. Plug socket too far from the bed. Seat cushion missing on chair. Price was too much for one night
