Good, clean hotel; friendly staff; plenty of choice for breakfast; close to Marble Factory and Bristol Quays - excellent.

The Ibis Temple Meads is a great budget hotel if you have tickets for a gig at The Marble Factory. It's within walking distance. The rooms are clean, the bed comfortable and staff are friendly and efficient.

Liked: Location for our venue; a clean room and comfortable bed and friendly and efficient staff.
Disliked: Not for the budget price.

Perfectly acceptable hotel but should...

Liked: Helpful staff and a good location - very convenient with the station and shopping centre/restaurants a short walk away.
Disliked: Like many chain hotels it is clean and functional but it leaves you feeling you've been had when you consider the price you've been charged.

Comfortable, clean and excellent room

Liked: Brilliant location for the train station we stayed overnight on our way to Portsmouth, lovely and clean in an excellent refurbished room so good we’ve booked to stay on the way back home again up north Would certainly recommend to others

Not really a memorable stay...

Liked: Decent room size, new bathroom pod style with great shower. large comfortable double bed. Clean. Good breakfast choices. Friendly staff. Good supply of room complimentary shower gel and shampoo. If required. Good location for Temple Meads train station.
Disliked: Disturbed by building work on the tall office block opposite our window with heavy machinery and mechanical noise that ended at 6.30pm and started again at 6.30am! Room was hot so had to open window partly to allow some fresh air. Unfortunately this just added to the noise from outside.2 x tea bags only and small kettle with a 12 inch lead that was hard to find somewhere suitable to plug in. Reception however were kind enough to supply a few more tea bags. Bathroom door would not close properly without slamming it shut. Only one spare pillow available on a large double bed.?
