Won't be using ibis again.
Liked: Location ideal as I was at St Georges.Bathroom and towels good.Breakfast. Fruit salad poor, bit of tinned pineapple and 1 grape or chopped up green apple. Sausage terrible. Bread cheapest sliced bread.
Disliked: Lift broken. The 1 remaining lift had to be shared with laundry trolleys only big enough for 3 people.Mattress on bed thin. I kept knocking into tv screen. No hot chocolate or tea choice in room.

Good location, room too hot...
Liked: The location of the hotel was great and the double glazing worked well in shutting out the noise of our city centre location. The room was clean and contained everything we needed for a short stay.
Disliked: It was so hot and stuffy in the room! The window only opened a very short way, so we could not use it to let in sufficient air to allow for air circulation. The fans only come on if the outside temperature goes above 20 degrees, so the internal and overly warm temperature of the room cannot otherwise be reduced. It's good to avoid having too much use of air con, but if this is the policy, then the hotel needs to provide fans that can be switched on to circulate air.

Liked: The bar was lovely and good service and the staff at the hotel were all very friendly and approachable.
Disliked: Breakfast was dry and burnt. Room was smaller than expected and the bathroom door was coming off it’s hinges. There was no hotel parking we had to park elsewhere but the hotel did apply discount for it. Barely any space to store things in room as wardrobe was tiny. Not worth £158 for one night.
