Perfect for an overnight stay...

Liked: The hotel is dog friendly and the dog friendly rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant was modern and the food was better than we expected although the menu was slightly limited in choice (price for 2 main courses, a bottle of water and a bottle of coke was about £40). Within easy walking distance of the centre of Bourges, which is a lovely city. There is a canal within a couple of minutes walk, which is excellent for walking dogs, and If you follow the banks for about a mile you can then walk along a path adjacent to fields
Disliked: Car park is private and free, but there are limited spaces and, unfortunately, the customers of the adjacent supermarket took up any free spaces while it was open (closes at 20:00 in the evening). You can park in any of the other free parking spaces around the hotel, including the street in the front, but the immediate area didn’t feel the most secure and as were ravelling to and from Spain we had quite a lot of stuff in the back. However, this is our 5th stay at the hotel and we’ve never had a problem.
