Comfortable hotel close to the...

Liked: On check-in, I was allocated a room on the north side of the building where it would be cooler and quieter. The room itself was comfortable and clean. The facilities in the room were in good , operational condition.
Disliked: The check-in process could have been better - the person serving me grumbled that it should have been one of his colleagues dealing with check-in. The price for a pint of beer was shocking, especially when compared to what was being charged at nearby pubs. The lasagne I had for an evening meal was tasty but a bit average and I seemed to wait a long time for it to be served. Most other food venues on the high street in Borehamwood appeared to be takeaways, therefore, eating in the hotel seemed to be the best option.
