Nice room, good location.

Liked: Good location, really nice room for an Ibis. Large, good beds, plenty of TV channels.Big WC, nice shower cabin.
Disliked: Hairdryer not working.The garage entrance is a bit on the XS side.No EV chargers.

Disliked: Minimum was upheld. Staff most likely students. Have seen greater breakfasts.

Liked: I liked- helpful and friendly staff- pretty clean, though outdated- situated just across the bridge from the old town- parking close by
Disliked: This could have been better- breakfast in the morning were there, but it was not filled up regularly, so some things were missing- I personally dislike carpets in the rooms- it could do with a renovation

nightmarish

Liked: The personnel at the breakfast was very kind.
Disliked: BEWARE! BEDBUGS!We booked a family room, so that the 9-months old toddler and I would have enough space in the "grand lit" (breastfeeding) whereas my husband took the second, smaller bed. There were bedbugs in the grand lit and I suffered around 250 bites to which I developed an allergic reaction. This only started the next afternoon, but now, THREE MONTHS later, you can still see the scars on my right hand. I was bitten all over my body, wherever the bugs found exposed skin. My right hand suffered the most. Due to this, the first two weeks of my holidays were horrible; no holidays at all. The bites are itchy for around three days and it took at least 3 weeks for everything to heal. I had to go to a doctor at our holiday destination and obviously, the owner of the rented house at that destination wanted to ensure that we did not bring the bedbugs along. I had the same wish - seen how much I suffered. So apart from the fees for the doctor, I paid for an expensive vermin eterminator.But the worst is that ibis Besancon did nothing to correct this situation: Whenever I write to them via booking.com; I will receive an answer within 24 hours. But when I send the invoices related to the extra cost that overnight stay caused via email (no documents can be sent via booking.com), I reveive no answer whatsoever. I have even been told two different email addresses in the meantime. Clearly a method.This hotel is resolved to do nothing about the bedbugs in their rooms it seems. I was told that the room has not been used after our stay, but it has not been cleaned out by a vermin exterminator either. I leave it to you to decide whether you want to stay in such a place. I for sure, will not be back. And you can check my other reviews for accodotations on booking.com: I usually write a lot about accomodations, which I love and I found these via booking.com. But this hotel clearly is a nightmare.

Liked: Great location just next to the centre, good breakfast, parking, beautiful park 3 minutes from the hotel, just perfect to walk a dog
