Cold stay in Besançon

Liked: Location of the hotel is great.
Disliked: The heating at the hotel was off and the day was cold. My husband had to ask for an individual heater. The cold made the stay uncomfortable.

We are coming again.

First ever disappointment with IBIS...

Liked: The location is excellent and most of the staff are exceptionally helpful.
Disliked: The entire foyer was under renovation. There was no elevator to the first floor. This was not informed earlier. I selected the IBIS for elevator access due to bad back and knees.The breakfast was below IBIS standards. No variety at all. Also the cleaned utensils were dirty many times.We had two rooms 203 and 404. This morning we requested a slightly late checkout on just one so we could ́leave comfortably. Though it was evident that many more rooms were available, without even checking the reguster, we were refused the short extension from 12 to 14 hours. I am extremely disappointed as Ibis has always been very cooperative.

Liked: Very well situated. Outstanding staff. From lady who steered my husband into the car park to the chamber staff. Just very civilized. Thank you.

Great centre ville location

Liked: Location was superb, a short and pleasant walk from the train station and right in the town centre. Air conditioning was most welcome. Rooms newly refurbished to a high standard.
