Very Good - 4 out of 5

Gemma, Dublin, visiting Mandela Hall Belfast Thu, 19 June 2014

Generally quite nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice.

Liked: Very close to the city and Mandela Hall, where I was attending a concert. Friendly staff.
Disliked: Uncomfortable pillows. A gap above the door made it noisy.

Low-end place but not at...

Liked: Staff were nice.
Disliked: Main shared areas of the hotel were dingey. The room was small and very basic. The one bright spot is the bed which was super comfortable.

Nice little gem, great location

Liked: Staff were so polite and friendly, location was great, 20 min walk to city centre of Belfast. Restaurants, coffee shops and supermarkets were all near by and carry on leading right into town. Very good value for money and spacious rooms, they were clean and well presented. We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely come back here again if we visit Belfast again. Had a blast!
Disliked: Only niggles were that the bed/pillows weren't the comfiest but were okay for our 5 night stay. One of the lights in the room above the mirror kept turning off so had to keep pushing the bulb to make it turn on again, we just did this on repeat for the duration of getting ready when using the mirror. The room doors are tricky to close they have to slam to close which means you can hear doors banging along the floor and above/below you.. thankfully other people staying weren't out too late so didn't disturb too much sleep. I would of scored 10/10 if these factors listed above hadn't of happened.

not worth the money due...

Liked: staff were great, very helpful & friendly
Disliked: the room was extremely dirty, especially the toilet, but no point complaining as everything is blamed on covid.
