Disliked: Very small room, very limited outdoor space. Terrace closes when bar isn’t open which is a shame. Expensive for basic accommodation

Great location, fantastic staff, and...

Liked: We loved the location of this hotel, as we could walk to pretty much everywhere we wanted to visit for our short stay in Barcelona. The front desk staff (especially Chris) were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to make our stay easy and enjoyable. Arriving to the hotel early in the morning. we were only expecting to be able to store our luggage until we would get a room later in the day, but due to being an IBIS loyalty member, we were able to get early check-in to our room when we arrived around 9 AM in the morning. There are plenty of restaurants and stores within a short walking distance of the hotel. We really enjoyed the restaurants and locals and the vibe on the "Rambla Del Poblenou" street that was a short walk from the hotel.

Disliked: I recommend you replace your shower towels. They are very thin. In addition to the shower towels add a smaller hand/facial tower.

Excellent for business, ok for...

Liked: Spotless modern room. Very nice front office staff.
Disliked: This is really a hotel for business travelers. It's in the middle of a large new-ish business development complex. So if you're a tourist, much less within a short walk than you'll find most places. And we are slightly disappointed that the room had neither fridge nor microwave.

Disliked: - the parking (or rather the entrance) isn't convenient and it's dangerous to get out in a car
