Liked: Lovely hotel right in centre of Arras, stunning town square with bars and restaurants a step away. We were 2 cycle tourists heading to Paris and this was our 2nd stop. Lovely attentive lady checked us in and really made us feel welcome, she let us store our bikes in the hotel courtyard safely. Room was spotless and just what we needed, had good air on a really hot day. Nice bar area which was reasonably priced with to channels to watch sport… highly recommended this hotel

Great location, great staff and...

Liked: I'd like to say we had a wonderful stay here because the hotel itself, the location, the staff and all the common areas are lovely. Everything is made very easy for you, and they had a great option to store our bicycles securely in the rear courtyard. A particular shout out to the lovely lady who greeted us when we checked in, very helpful.
Disliked: The room we had booked was a bog standard twin, and while we didn't have grand expectations, it was REALLY small. Two single beds pushed up very close to each other. With the window open for better air circulation I was worried I would wake up and smack my head on it. The bathroom is also small, and yet carves out so much space from the main room, there is barely any room to move. While my friend was standing at the foot of his bed, the only way to get to mine was to crawl across the beds. Everything about it is minimalist, and designed for the absolute function intended and in a way that basically can see minimal damage or maintenance required. Even the fact that they give you no room key but just a code. Everything from the bed frames to the towel hooks to the shower screens... there was nothing fancy or luxurious.If I were to compare this to a typical Holiday Inn or Novotel in the UK or most countries in Europe, it would be half the size of a standard double or twin. So, just beware, unless you are children, it's going to feel like a tight squeeze!
