Not bad because they changed...

Liked: The location was pretty good
Disliked: We had a very small room which had a disgusting smell to it, didn’t like how the staff said “ ive been working for 10 years straight & its our first time getting this kind of comment, (im not saying that you’re lying but just saying), sir im not gonna say such thing when it’s our room obviously was smelly. Pissed me off tbh, we had our friends as well smell it and they had the same opinion.

I wasnt able to stay...

Disliked: I was unable to stay the location becuase they didn't have any availability. I didn't know this until I arrived around 8 PM. I then had to figure out where I was going to stay

Using booking.com my credit card...

Liked: I liked the cleanliness of the hotel. I love the location and walkability of stores and restaurants from the hotel.
Disliked: The continental breakfast wasn't good. I would not add it to my room as an upcharge. There are better restaurants that are walking distance from the hotel.

Great location and facilities, but...

Liked: Clean, well located, modern. The pool was moslty empty.
Disliked: Breakfast, staff didn't care, hot water didn't really work

Good location, poor service, not...

Liked: The property is relatively well located.
Disliked: The receptionist couldn't say if there's hot water in the room. Also, she pointed us to quite an expensive valet service, while there was a much cheaper public parking just nearby. The breakfast was totally disorganised, and it took them 30min to cook the wrong type of eggs and to bring ham instead of bacon. For this price, we definitely expect better service. Plus, there was an additional payment for amenities or resort fees, about 40-50$ , that were presented only at the check-in.

Well located for MCC, poor...

Liked: Location near to the conference centre
Disliked: This was not representative of the IHG brand. We booked a terrace room. The terrace - which did not appear to have been cleaned in many months - opened directly onto the large A/C units so it wasn’t comfortable to sit in the terrace. The location meant our room was constantly noisy from the AC. The room was very small and oddly had no side table or light on one side of the table. There is no overhead light - less than ideal for working. The cleaning staff were noisy (someone PLEASE tell them there is no need to speak at the top of their voices to each other as they move about). Reception was unhelpful at check in and continued to be so - when we raised issues nothing was acted upon or escalated. And the restaurant doesn’t open till 0800 - with a 40 minute wait for one slice of toast, 2 poached eggs and a tiny portion of fruit. Miami Beach has many hotel - don’t choose this one.
