Old school hotel with great...

Liked: The room was comfortable, clean and enjoyable with big sea views. The restaurant is 'hotel - old school' but the hospitality, food and wines were excellent. Breakfast was also good. Overall a very good stay.
Disliked: The hotel access is from the rear and therefore a bit difficult to find (when arriving on a bike anyway). Secure bike parking is not available and had to be 'negotiated'.

Try somewhere else

Liked: Location
Disliked: They called me the day before to take 1st day payment but couldn’t ( because there was something wrong with NatWest payments so after a small drama I paid through booking.com changing my card The room was opposite a bin shed and they changed the bins at 6:30am Room was good size ,no bath tho ,breakfast it’s self service the breakfast is nice just the very large round containers have big lids which you have to put aside there is no room do you balance it on the rest Not worth £500 for 2 nights

Pleasant

Disliked: Sea view was partial as was from the side. Bed is then on the opposite wall so physically have to stand at the window to see it. Bed would have been better placed on other wall to view the sea rather than other rooms windows
