Liked: We stayed at this hotel for three nights based on the many positive reviews, and overall it was a decent experience.The positives first:The hotel is located in a peaceful and quiet area of the city, yet it's easily accessible to everywhere — a major advantage. The rooms were clean, and the complimentary minibar was a nice touch. Our initial welcome at reception was also friendly and positive.
Disliked: Breakfast was very limited in variety and seemed to cater almost exclusively to German or local guests. One should not expect an international or inclusive buffet. Basic items such as olives or white(feta) cheese etc. were absent.On two mornings, the croissants, which are typically a highlight in European hotels, were extremely dry and hard — almost like they were from the previous day. When we mentioned this to the staff, the response was indifferent.In the yogurt and fruit section, there were small flies, which raised hygiene concerns. (I am attaching photos for reference — this is something management should urgently address.)One of the elevators was out of service the entire day on our last morning. This caused long wait times as guests had to rely on the single working elevator in a seven-story building.Most disappointing was the check-out experience: After confirming with reception that check-out time was 12:00, we went back to our room at 11:04 only to find our room key deactivated. As the elevator was broken, we had to take the stairs down and back up again, only to face the same issue. When I returned to reception, I felt as though the situation wasn’t taken seriously. Eventually, a staff member had to escort us back to the room to unlock the door manually. No apology or acknowledgment was offered, which was disappointing. In the service industry, small details and professional handling of such incidents really matter.In the breakfast area as well, hygiene and product quality should be continuously monitored by a supervisor. Just standing by the door and asking for a room number is not enough.We are sharing this feedback because we paid above-average rates and expected an above-average level of service in return. Had we chosen a more basic hotel, we would have adjusted our expectations accordingly. We believe honest feedback helps improve future guest experiences.

A rather dull basic hotel...

Liked: The best thing about the hotel was its location. The transport connections were good. There was also a small square next to the hotel, which was nice, and it had several cafés and restaurants along its edge.Otherwise, there wasn’t any major fault with the hotel, but at least here on Booking.com, this hotel is listed among five-star hotels, which might have set our expectations too high.
Disliked: There was an extremely noisy air conditioning in the room. If you set it to the quieter eco mode, the room became unbearably hot. At least one of the hotel’s elevators was constantly out of order, and sometimes both were. The outdoor terrace shown in the Booking.com pictures is not accessible; it’s only for private events.The hotel room featured advanced modern technology with control panels. When searching for the light switches in the dark, it was easy to accidentally touch, for example, the "Do Not Disturb" button. Also, there were no instructions indicating that the deadbolt on the door remains engaged even after leaving the room unless manually turned off — which once again prevented housekeeping from entering :). There was no hotel information folder in the room with, for example, instructions on how to use these systems, or information about room service prices and offerings, or how to access Elixia for fitness.The hotel staff was professional but not particularly friendly or service-minded.

great deal and very comfortable...

Liked: The executive suite lounge was really great for snacks and drinks. The gym was completely unexpected and really complete, Quite large and had several of every kind of equipment needed for a good workout. Our room size was also unexpected. we had a junior suite and it was quite spacious.
Disliked: we had no complaints.
