Great staff, hotel and location...

Liked: Quaint old fashioned hospitality
Disliked: Small bed very uncomfortable. Hot room unable to open windows properly to let air in. No view brick wall !

Good hotel, let down by...

Liked: Great staff, with grand main communal areas and a delighful garden.
Disliked: The corridors and lifts were tired, and our room felt exceptionally small and somewhat claustrophobic

Grand old hotel, great location

Liked: Quaint old hotel, like stepping back in time. The single twin room I stayed in was perfect comfortable and clean. Would stay again.

Exceptional

Liked: Super breakfast... the rooms were perfect, even had a fan for a the hot summer night, though we didnt need to use it... well equipped and very smartly designed!
Disliked: Everything was really very good! A suggestion: if the rooms are available, extend the release of the rooms by a few more hours, if the guests wish to stay on for lunch at the hotel.... after all, the food is simply superb! ...

Liked: Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Rooms could use airconditioning at these summer temperatures

Fabulous breakfast- smoked room.

Liked: Charming old school hotel with good and loyal staff.
Disliked: My room had been used by smokers. It took a while before the sheets and bedding were changed but the staff reacted positively and with little fuss. This was impressively handled by the duty manager.

Liked: Lovely lounge and bar areas, perfect position with sea views, attentive staff, beautiful views.
Disliked: Nothing
