Hyatt Regency Toronto

The hotel is in a great location; provides underground parking with in and out privileges; the staff were friendly and welcoming; the rooms were clean and updated, despite not offering a mini fridge. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we had an overall great experience. We have stayed at various Hyatt's before with little to no issues.

Liked: The hotel room was clean, organized, welcoming, safe and in a great location close to everything.
Disliked: No mini fridge in the room which is extremely disappointing.

Requested a double bed room (smoking) and it wasn't ready so we ended up taking a Queen size bed and asked for a cot. We got into the room and realized there was no way a cot would fit in so we ended up switching our room to a non smoking room. Good looking room, however, it was very small - we kept banging our legs up against the corners of the beds. The shower is small so if you are a bigger person don't bother showering.

Liked: In a good area for restaurants.
Disliked: Hotel rooms are extremely small.

Decent value for your money

Liked: Good location in downtown Toronto, could easily walk to lots of attractions and union station. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Rooms and hallway were a bit out of date, some of the finishings could have been nicer. Would have liked to see the elevators require room keys to access floors for better security, I cam into hotel later one evening and was able to access elevators with out any questions or having to provided proof of stay

Great Location

Liked: I had a pleasant stay at this hotel! The location is perfect—just a short walk to the CN Tower, surrounded by restaurants, and with a streetcar stop right outside. The subway is also within walking distance, which made getting around super easy with practically no need to use your car. The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was very good with a variety of options.
Disliked: The room felt a bit dated. Some of the furniture, like drawers, didn’t close properly and seemed a little worn. The shower curtain was clean but felt old and slightly torn—not dirty, just showing it's age.

Excellent hotel amidst many downtown...

Liked: Comfortable and clean hotel within easy walking distance to many attractions in the downtown area. Professional and courteous staff contributed to the wonderful Hyatt experience. Will definitely return to this hotel upon next visit to Toronto.
