Disappointed

Liked: Location and staff
Disliked: Cot was requested and it wasn’t in the room. Booked breakfast and we weren’t on the list. We asked for food delivered to our room( from buffet breakfast) and it never arrived. The pillows were absolutely uncomfortable, neck pain the next day. I paid $400 dollars for 1 night and I can say it wasn’t worth it which was a shame because I chose the Hyatt to celebrate my 40th birthday and I was not happy with my stay.

I will stay again but...

Liked: Lovely quiet room with view and a very clean modern bathroom. Comfortable bed. Lovely friendly staff.
Disliked: You can’t change the room temperature and I was too cold to sleep. Tried ringing various numbers eg housekeeping and reception to get more bedding but no answer so I went down to reception in my pyjamas. I was brought up a thin blanket but was still cold, so wore my puffer jacket to bed. The bed was extremely comfy though. When I arrived at breakfast I asked for a cappuccino which didn’t come. I reminded staff but it didn’t come until I had to leave, so they put it in a takeaway cup. Also, the burcher muesli ran out by 9.30 and I asked if any more was coming, and staff member said he would ask, but none came. Otherwise it was a lovely breakfast. You can hear some room doors banging shut in the morning.

Disliked: I called to ask if my room had a bath, I was told - yes it does, No it didn’t. I would have upgraded if I had known. After a relationship break-up, all I wanted was a bath + a speaker/Spotify & several glasses of wine.
