Liked: Room was lovely, large, clean. Starbucks in lobby was a bonus.
Disliked: Coffee machine didn't work in room, no shampoo in the dispenser in bathroom and $5 for a bottle of water in room was most unusual. Bar closes at 11.

Liked: The regency is a great value. It’s clean and staff are always professional and quick to accommodate any needs or adjustments.

Superb

Liked: The staff were very kind, especially Bashkim at breakfast was great! The breakfast buffet in general was very good as was the omelette. The hotel is convenient if you just need a place to stay near the airport. Rooms are large and clean. Free parking is a big plus! Lots of airline personnel stay here which is an assurance!
Disliked: The only issue I had with this hotel is that I specifically booked it because I knew that I would arrive late and the restaurant and bar - Gallagher's - was supposed to be open until 11:30pm according to the official Hyatt Regency Schaumburg website. However, when we checked in we were informed that food was no longer being served and the bar had already announced last call. This was a huge disappointment as it was the main reason we booked the hotel, but our night was saved as there is a restaurant right outside the hotel which was still open. I informed the receptionist of this issue and he said that they would check and have the website changed.

Liked: The design of the hotel was nice, but better in the photos than in person.
Disliked: The room was literally tilted like a boat, slapped musty and smelled basement like. I was also served coffee at the Starbucks that had a mechanical oil smell. So much was bad.
