Hyatt Regency Portland at the Oregon Convention Center

Overall , it was a clean hotel with friendly staff; lots of great vegan and vegetarian options in the market cafe that was attached to the hotel with good hours. Was disappointed there was no pool, but I would still give it a 4.5/5. Would definitely come back.

Liked: Hotel staff were super friendly. One restaurant and market on site - with the market opening early and closing late. Really nice for late nice snack and early coffee. Great location, near the Moda Centre, and train and a lot of other walking distance places.
Disliked: It's a busy spot; they have valet, and we noticed that at times it was difficult for our Uber to park in front, as the valet was super busy. One time we had to meet our Uber on the street on a different block as cars were lined up and you couldn’t get in, and it turns out their parking lot was full and the lot had to redirect guests to a different parking place - which if it wasn’t underground and/or locked I would probably be concerned as there were many cars that had smashed out windows on the street … a bit of a rough part.

Pleasant and comfortable

Liked: Location, gym,cleanliness.
Disliked: There was a convention and bike event going on and some of the guest would clog common areas to the detriment of others trying to get around them.

Liked: Proximity to the Moda Center was nice. Staff was friendly, room was decent. Valet Parking is convenient.
Disliked: Price. Was overcharged on my reservation (charged my card 3x - which they fixed after I called a couple times). Was pre-paid in full, but after my stay I got charged an extra "destination fee." Didn't feel like they were upfront about the hidden charges, and the parking/valet was a bit pricey as well.

Liked: The room was spectacular and the breakfast buffet was amazing!!
Disliked: The A/C unit was a bit loud when it turned off waking us up everytime. The parking garage was extremely overpriced. I had to pay $28 for overnight and when I went to head to the airport at 10am I couldn’t leave the garage until I pad an additional $20 day pass! HUGE RIP OFF!

Liked: I liked the vast feeling of the lobby. The friendliness of seeing so many guests in the open bar, the games and lounging. The market/store had great items.
Disliked: The beds were too soft. The parking was $30 a day. There is an additional $25 destination fee.
