The perfect beach weekend getaway!

Liked: Beautiful. Better than expected. We loved the bar, drinks and music. We loved The outdoor patios with fire pits and complimentary s’mores. Enjoyed the Relaxing pool and spa. Comfortable room and bedding. Delicious breakfast and cute coffee shop. Plus great views of the golf course, and fun family games outside.

Disappointing from a Hyatt Regency.

Liked: The bed and bedding are very comfortable; the room was clean and spacious.
Disliked: The armchair was not particularly comfortable (and there was only one of them, which was fine for me, but surely rooms with King beds are often occupied by couples) and there needs to be an ottoman or something similar to permit lounging while reading or watching TV. The restaurant staff was very friendly, but the food took a long time to come, the menu is limited, and some of the entrees, such as the pasta arrabiata, are mediocre at best. Also, they messed up my billing.

Liked: I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Monterey. It’s clear that no expense has been spared when it comes to the quality of this hotel. Modern decor,that feels like five-star.The location is ideal—far enough from the hustle of the main areas. A nice distance to walk. The rooms are spacious,well designed and incredibly comfortable. Everything from the bedding to the lighting has been thought through with care. Customer service was good. Reception staff were warm, professional, and efficient, and housekeeping was consistently excellent throughout our stay.
Disliked: Would have been nice to have bath robes in the room

Liked: Huge property, lots of facilities. The fire pits were particularly nice (although a lot of people clearly need to learn how to cook s’mores!).
Disliked: Not the greatest soundproofing in the rooms surprisingly, but I tend to wear earplugs in hotels anyway so it didn’t bother me (but did my friend). I also don’t like pay in a lot of money for a room then being forced to pay for parking too. Feels exploitative and seems to be a USA thing only.

Beautiful location, cleaning not the...

Liked: Loved the location, the property itself is beautiful.
Disliked: The maids did not do a good job cleaning. There was leftover hair in the sink, as if someone shaved and was never fully sprayed and wiped down. Same with the shower. I found lose hair in the bed, and the bathroom floor and bedroom floor was DISGUSTING. By the end of the night/ and next morning, my daughter and I had to jump in the shower a 2nd time because our feet were black from walking barefoot, and it just ruined our socks.
