Disliked: Great variety offered for breakfast but slightly disappointed that hot food wasn’t very warm

Disappointing

Liked: The location and breakfast are great. Friendly staff and comfortable stay. We got a room with a nice view of the river overlooking the Parliament.
Disliked: Our room was located on the 9th floor. We paid extra for a high floor city view. However, the nights were ruined by the noise from dancing club on the 11th floor after midnight. I was annoyed and called the front desk and the receptionist responded that the “it was advertised”. I’m sure that was the case, but strongly disagree that they failed to inform the guests that it could be a disturbance at night. So check with the hotel upon your reservation.

Liked: A really comfortable hotel ideally located for central London. Really superb helpful front desk staff and a well equipped gym. I would definitely stay here again.

Liked: Only location
Disliked: The front desk staff talking like a program and no emotional interaction. We called for an urgent matter in the room and nobody care to attend and evaluate the situation, and no positive interaction from the management about the situations. The rooms description up on the time of booking is to much to be understood, and does not reflect the reality, such as you will be offer a room on with river view with higher price that other rooms, then the hotel place you in the first floor with trees view and fairly you could see the river. The front desk staff refused to come to assist the leakage in the bathroom and water leakage into the floor carpet.

Disappointed

Disliked: We paid alot of money to book the room with a balcony as it was my wedding party celebration. I phoned up in advance to ask that whilst I knew my room would not be ready could they help me to find somewhere to get changed . 5 of my party had also booked 5 rooms . When checking in they were not helpful . There was now where to get changed so I had to go to the basement toilet cubicle as not one room was available. We also had to sign a waiver to say we would not jump from our balcony . When we arrived back around midnight and collected out bags from reception when we finally got up our room the balcony doors were locked . When we phoned reception to say we wanted them open they said it was too late which I found ridiculous. Obviously the next morning we went for breakfast and checked out so we never went on the balcony . We complained at checkout and they offered us a drink which we declined so they then gave us approximately £70 off our bill. This in no way covered the vast expense this room cost . Really disappointed and ruined the stay
