Great location! Okay place to...

Liked: Location relative to Red Mile
Disliked: Room had a flowery scent. Not enough blankets on the bed. Left my sunglasses at the bar; manager told me he turned them in to the front desk, but they couldn't find them. Food was just okay.

room was clean but I...

Liked: the hotel was clean and I had no problem with the facilities.
Disliked: I can't stand it when companies take advantage and price gouge consumers. Room rates were beyond jacked up because of a local event and they charged me an additional $30 fee for 2 hour early check in on top of an outrageously elevated crazy per night room rate (when the room was ready!). All names under this same umbrella will definitely be my very last choice when staying away from home. First day back & I'm already complaining to my family and work colleagues about the price gouging & how I feel like Hyatt totally dumped on me because they could.

We would stay again for...

Liked: Location was good, some nearby streets and areas were dirty and littered. Not the hotel's fault. The breakfast was top notch and convenient, we added to our booking so it was 'included' and was $22 per buffet. We walked approximately 1.4 miles to the Red Mile for the Rail Bird Festival. Check in and out times were good. Parking included across the street. Lobby is beautiful. 3 working elevators. Staff was friendly.
Disliked: This is an older hotel and while updated with modern flooring and finishes, the bathrooms are small with no venting or fans so moisture is an issue. There was no microwave. We had an issue with our HVAC a/c not working on our 3rd night but did not call maintenance at 11pm, we just let them know at check out. Also had a toilet that probably used 4 gallons per flush. You have to ask for bar soap.
