We went to the market...

Liked: We liked everything. It was very clean. And everyone was so friendly.
Disliked: I wasn’t a big fan of the pillow. But that doesn’t even matter because it was very comfortable every other way.

Comfortable and sort of elegant...

Liked: Nice large room, recently renovated. Excellent housekeeping. Good small plates at the bar. Helpful reception staff when we needed to change our room. Good espresso at The Market in the lobby. The quiet side of the hotel faces a handsome "campus" of modernist high rises with connecting landscaped walks. We will stay here again when we visit family in town.
Disliked: One whole side of the hotel faces a freeway and the noise, even with double-glazed windows, was constant and sometimes quite loud. The pool is really only for families with small children, and it was packed, and a bit grubby. The music in the lobby and the noise of the crowds there were loud and made us want to get out of there as fast as possible. It was a busy weekend with a big conference.

Liked: The swimming pool is nice. The parking lot overnight parking expense is fine for $47.
Disliked: The room is not sound proven which we can hear the laughing and walking all nights. Especially the noise (maybe shredding or ice cube machines) is loud enough to wake us up.
