Good business hotel in close...

Liked: The hotel was in a good proximity to the airport. Our flight was cancelled so we booked last minute to spend the night before heading on our new flight the next morning. The hotel staff was attentive and helpful in answering our questions. The rooms were business-standard and were clean and comfortable. The hotel also provided a free shuttle service to the airport every 30 minutes.
Disliked: I struggled a bit with the shower system, not easy to use at least from a European perspective

Liked: Its location was perfect near to the metro station. The room was spacious, clean, bright and the bed was comfortable. Daily housing keeping.
Disliked: I asked the receptionist for 2 extra bottles of water but I discovered after leaving that they charged me $ 3 for the bottles. Not a big issue but they could had informed me from the beginning of the extra charge!

Disliked: The hidden discretionary fees that were added to each night's stay, after you had already confirmed your reservation. Making the booking price "Much Higher" than the price posted by Booking.

Liked: Location
Disliked: Mattress needs to be replaced. Bedding/linens starched and uncomfortable; shower drain clogged; Keurig type coffee pot lid broken. The elevators are very slow and only one seemed to be in operation during peak check-in time/evening. I stay at 3 other Hyatts during my stay in California and this was the least favorable. The others were modernized and the bed/bedding was much nicer. Time for this location to be refreshed.
