Very good

An acceptable business hotel, but...

Liked: This hotel was sufficient for a decent business hotel, but it certainly didn't exceed expectations. The price was quite affordable. The rooms were ok, but nothing special. The gym was ok, but I've seen better in this price range. The breakfast restaurant was excellent with very friendly servers and tasty food. But there are negatives (see below).
Disliked: To begin, DTC (the neighborhood) is soulless at its best. But this hotel continues that. It appears that the building was not initially designed for a hotel, but rather an office building that was later converted into a hotel. The lobby and 2nd floor are among the most soulless and least attractive business hotel interiors I've ever been in. You walk in, and it just doesn't feel like a hotel; it doesn't feel welcoming. Be cautious of rooms that have an internal door between two rooms. I had one, and I could hear almost everything that was happening in my neighboring room, so I asked to switch, which the front desk was more than willing to do. If you have a fear of heights, the hotel is built on three offshoots from a central axis, and two of the three offshoots only allow access to your room via a bridge connecting the axis to the rooms. If you're afraid of heights, it's terrifying to be 11 floors up and walking over a bridge to get to your room. As for the rooms, the beds were fine, but I had to move a second time because the TV in my room was old and dark. In general, this is an acceptable property, but not an impressive one.

Liked: Staff was amazing, Ashlynn at the front desk was the absolute best!! She gave the most incredible service she went above and beyond for me and my daughter, it was her 16th birthday and she sent up a card and dessert and that really made her feel special, I am so grateful for Ashlynn, and Geil at the restaurant was also fantastic!!

Bad

Liked: So basically, the room was awful. It wasnt good at all. I expected better. As it said 4 star hotel, i would give it a 3 star and not go there.
Disliked: Its old :( and there was hair on the sheets as well.

Would definitely book again in...

Liked: The location was optimal for our trip and activities. The breakfast was a very nice meal. The facilities was amazing and clean. We upgraded our room and it wasn't exactly what we need for my family of 3, for just a little bit more in price the front desk person made it worth it to go ahead with the up grade to accommodate for our needs. We really appreciated that. After many times traveling and staying in hotels my wife and I agreed this room is on our top list of places we've stayed. We were really pleased with the amenities it provided.
Disliked: After a long day of walking around for our activities we were a little sore in the bones. We went to the pool area to hopefully sit in a spa/hot tub to relaxe and recoup from the day. Only we were left to learn that there was no hot tub at this location. Made us a bit sad but we got over it quickly.
