The Spotlight on Hyatt Regency Cleveland At The Arcade

Historic Charm Meets Downtown Cleveland Energy

Modern comfort meets 19th-century elegance at the Hyatt Regency Cleveland at The Arcade. Nestled in a beautifully restored Victorian-era arcade, this upscale hotel places you in the heart of downtown Cleveland—just minutes from major music venues, restaurants, and nightlife. With dramatic wood paneling, vaulted ceilings, and a sleek on-site spa, it’s a stylish spot to unwind after the show.

Why Concert-goers love it

Location is everything, and this hotel delivers. You’re a short walk or quick ride from Cleveland’s biggest stages, with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame just six minutes away. After the encore, head back to a quiet, comfortable room with soundproofed walls and late-night room service. With flexible check-in at 3:00 PM and a generous 12:00 PM checkout, you’ll have time to sleep in after a night of music.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking for a central base with walkable nightlife
  • Solo travelers chasing that dream setlist moment
  • Couples enjoying a weekend of music and downtown charm
  • Fans who want a peaceful post-concert escape
  • Budget-conscious travelers seeking upscale comfort without splurging

Food and Drink Options

Start your night with a bite at 1890 at The Arcade, serving breakfast and dinner right in the hotel. Need something lighter? The 1890 Lounge offers cocktails and snacks into the evening. While there's no 24/7 room service, the central location means late-night eats are just steps away, and breakfast is ready when you are the next morning.

Nightlife Options

While the Hyatt doesn’t host live music itself, you’re within walking distance of downtown Cleveland’s top bars, lounges, and music venues. Whether you’re into craft cocktails or high-energy clubs, it’s all close by. Prefer something low-key? Grab a drink at the 1890 Lounge before heading up to your room.

What People Say

Guests rave about the hotel’s historic atmosphere, spotless rooms, and superb location. Many mention the arcade’s architecture as a unique highlight, and appreciate the friendly, helpful staff. It’s a favorite among travelers attending events at nearby arenas and theaters.

Areas for Improvement

Some guests note that the on-site dining options wrap up a bit early, and a few rooms could use minor updates. If you're a light sleeper, request a room away from the street side—though most say noise isn’t an issue.

The Bottom Line

For concert-goers wanting style, comfort, and a prime downtown location, Hyatt Regency Cleveland at The Arcade hits all the right notes.

Other than the two bad things I listed before, it was a beautiful room and huge for $300 in the city. I would stay at this hotel again without a doubt.

Liked: Beautiful inside the hotel as soon as you step through the front doors.
Disliked: Found an old piece of pizza in the fridge and the sheets had yellow stains on them. Also, I'm not from the city so maybe it's just me but I feel like there should be taxis or something so you don’t have to walk down alley ways. Seems dangerous.

Short but sweet. I was in a second floor newly remodeled room for just 2 nights but loved it. Large room, 12' ceilings, big windows, inside a very cool 1890's building. I easily walked to the RnR HoF even on a cold morning. Chose this hotel because I was going to a show at the HoB which I found out is literally right out the back door. My only hope is that as the downtown grows the shops in the Arcade find tenants. Most have nothing in them.

All and all our stay was great! MOST of the staff was very helpful and made things as easy as possible for us. We will definitely be back!

Liked: Very close to our destination.
Disliked: I didn't realize our room was going to be so far from the front desk and I was recovering from ACL surgery so it was a little rough on me all and all.
