Hyatt Place UC Davis

Very nice stay

Liked: Clean, professional, very nice for the “budget” Hyatt, very comfortable beds, beautiful location and nature views, breakfast yummy and healthy, cleaning staff nice and accommodating.
Disliked: Ice not readily available (on one of four floors only), sundries (razor, etc.) not readily available, although stores close by.

Liked: The distance from campus
Disliked: The bed and pillow were the most uncomfortable I’ve ever experienced in any other Hyatt I’ve stayed. So close to the train tracks and an extremely uncomfortable bed I didn’t sleep for four night and paid $600 (way over priced for the comfort level)Ice machines were out of a service. There were no food options in the small refrigerator section at the front desk. Breakfast and coffee were bland.

Perfect location for a visit...

Liked: If you're visiting UC Davis, this is the perfect location. It's right on campus next to the visitor center, so you can leave your car at the hotel and walk everywhere. The town of Davis is a 5 minute drive away.Also: clean rooms, hot breakfast, and 24 hour coffee in the lobby.
Disliked: No complaints at all.

Liked: I liked that the hotel was very private. Hotel rooms were spacious.
Disliked: I didn’t like the breakfast needs more variation and food was not good.
