Great location; no hassle with parking due to valet service; wonderful buffet breakfast; nice swimming pool and very nice and comfortable room.

Liked: Excellent downtown location. Such a neat nostalgic building. Nice amenities and courteous staff.
Disliked: Pillows were a bit soft for my liking.

Great place to stay.

Liked: Interesting building, beautifully converted for hotel use. Friendly and helpful staff. Really good breakfast. Great location, just near the railway station.
Disliked: Repurposed building says “Custom House “ in big letters over the front door. Hyatt name much less obvious, which meant we walked straight past it first time.

Excellent choice when visiting downtown...

Liked: great location next to the train station and quick walk to my conference. Excellent free breakfast and beautiful large rooms in vintage property. Good access to riverfront.
Disliked: No closet, just a small wardrobe that wouldn't be adequate for two people with coats. Nowhere to plug in USB in the rooms. The front door of the hotel is always locked.

Passable

Liked: The room was large and clean. Brenda was helpful, along with the graveyard shift/middle of the nigh attendant.
Disliked: The check in staff were not helpful to rude. There weren't basics such as soap in my room and I had to ask multiple times to receive the items I needed. The breakfast was terrible and the are seemed run down. The drawers were falling out in my room and the curtain wouldn't close completely. The pool was essentially a wading pool and wasn't usable for exercise.I stayed here to be near my conference hotel and the area is not safe. I was planning to walk back and forth to my events and instead had to pay Ubers to go a few blocks. One evening there were three squad cars in front of the hotel and another there was a transient person right next to where I had to enter the building without any security in site.
