Great, Will Come Back!

Liked: Close to Legoland, restaurants and grocery stores. Very easy to find and lots of ample parking. Room was very spacious. Laundry facility is also available on the 3rd floor which is great for families with kids. Pool is heated.
Disliked: Breakfast food is the same every morning, no variety but love the waffle station. Unfortunately, on our 3rd day there, the power broke where the waffle maker was hooked up and there was no backup. Took them over 24 hours to bring us new towels.

Liked: We like the room, the spaciousness of the hotel, the pool and Jacuzzi, the fitness area, and the ease of parking.
Disliked: We did like the complementary breakfast, that is, that it was offered; however, the quality of the food was mediocre at best.

Large comfortable room for family,...

Liked: Room was great for family with 2 queen beds and a pull out. Large comfortable room. Good breakfast included in stay. Nice pool and hot tub. Friendly staff.
Disliked: Pool towels sometimes ran out at pool and front desk

Liked: The bed was comfortable and the front desk staff friendly, but that's about it. All the other staff I interacted with left much to be desired, especially the breakfast attendant and the lack of management
Disliked: My recent stay at the Hyatt Place San Diego - Vista/Carlsbad from 5/28/2025 to 5/30/2025 left me deeply disappointed and, frankly, quite shaken. While the hotel's location was convenient for my doctor's appointments, the numerous issues I encountered culminated in a serious safety incident that left me questioning the hotel's standards of care.From the outset, there were a series of minor annoyances that, while individually small, collectively detracted from a relaxing stay. My request for a shower chair to be delivered after 6:00 PM was disregarded, as it arrived at 4:30 PM, disrupting my rest. Furthermore, a simple request for extra towels and missing glasses from the room went unfulfilled, requiring me to seek them out from a hallway housekeeper the following day.As someone with dietary restrictions and my extensive experience in hotels and as a Food and Beverage Manager, the lack of clear signage at breakfast was particularly concerning. When I inquired with the attendant, I was met with an attitude of clear annoyance and inconvenience. These instances, along with other minor issues, eventually led me to simply stop making requests altogether.However, the most egregious and dangerous issue was the blatant negligence regarding safety equipment and the subsequent lack of concern for my well-being. Upon attempting to use the provided shower chair, it immediately felt unsteady and alarmingly slid out from under me, causing a hard fall with the chair landing on top of me. Thankfully, my partner was present to assist me. Upon examining the chair after the fall, we discovered a significant crack that could not have been caused by the incident itself. This indicates that I was provided with a faulty and dangerous safety aid.Immediately following this incident, we went to the front desk to report it and request to speak with the Manager on Duty. We were informed that all managers were in a meeting.
