Liked: The room that I got was incredibly spacious and it was very clean. There was no issues with the AC and I was able to sleep comfortably. Also, I appreciate the woman who checked me in and signed me up for the Hyatt Rewards, so I could get two free water bottles a day. It's the little things that count~
Disliked: Each floor should have an ice machine or a vending room but, it was only located on the first floor. As a pregnancy woman, it was tiresome to keep coming down stairs for ice. Secondly, I felt like I was being profiled during Saturday morning's breakfast. I gave the attendant my name and I proceeded into the breakfast area to obtain my food. The attendant came up to me a couple minutes later claiming that he never got my name, when I did give him my name before proceeding into breakfast. He didn't ask no one else, but he asked me again, a solo African American woman. It made me feel a bit uncomfortable. Even after I got my breakfast, the same attendant came to me one more time and offer me condiments as a courtesy. I told him that I had everything that I needed. To be honest the breakfast wasn't even the best and for people to have to pay $11 for it, they need to improve on the breakfast options. Offer waffles and breakfast meat and please have closed containers of yogurt.

Calm & a bit nosey,...

Liked: It was very nice to get away. The guy working at the front desk was really sweet & nice. I stayed Saturday night until Sunday morning, I forgot his name but he definitely needs a raise he was very calm & kind!
Disliked: Breakfast seemed like it could have been a better quality. The potato’s were dry and the eggs didn’t seem like they were real. Great drink options but not much hot food options. I loved that it was free though

Liked: The hotel was clean and quiet. We will always choose the Hyatt Place when traveling. We like that the hotels are laid out the same way no matter where you stay.
Disliked: We booked through booking.com on 5/9/2025 and chose a room that included breakfast. During the checkout process we were charged for breakfast. The customer service representative at the hotel explained that the free breakfast ended on 5/7/25 and wouldn’t reverse the charge even though I showed him the booking.com receipt that clearly showed free breakfast in the price of the room. He said the issue was between me and booking.com. He said booking.com should have known about the policy change.

Liked: Location, cleanliness, large room and comfortable
Disliked: Booking a room that said breakfast was included, just to be told on check-in that the new ownership was no longer providing breakfast with the room. It would be an upcharge per person.

Disappointing

Disliked: First, we arrived at 12:30. Our room wasn't ready, which was fine. But we were told that we would receive a text that our room was ready. Because we had other appointments that lasted until almost 9 pm, we ended up with a room across the floor from the noisy elevator. Our room was awkwardly built/arranged. The TV was at an angle from the bed. The toilet was at the foot of our bed. If I'm not mistaken, the bed seemed queen sized instead of king sized. We asked that the room be cleaned after the first night. It wasn't.
