Hyatt Place Nashville Downtown

The hotel overall is great but the night-time staff was very rude and they shut off the water and did not mention it to us before we booked a room that there wouldn't be any water.

Liked: Hotel itself was nice. Would've been nice before paying $300 for a hotel room to know that our water was going to be off the majority of the night before we even booked.
Disliked: The daytime staff is awesome; went to go get my keys from the valet later at night and the staff refused to give me my car keys saying that the valet had called off work and that there was nothing I could do to get my car keys, so after waiting 30 minutes and then lying to me about him not being there he finally showed up and unlocked the box to give me my keys. Also, like I mentioned in my last comment we had no water the whole evening and after going to a concert it would have been nice to know that we weren't going to have any water.

My fiance and I had a one night stay at the Hyatt and enjoyed the entirety of our stay. The room was beautiful, as was the view. It had a feel like no one had ever even stayed in the room. The only thing I could possibly even mention in a negative way was the breakfast wasn't quite as good as I had anticipated from reviews, but it was miles ahead of others.

Liked: One of the cleanest hotels I've ever set foot in.
Disliked: Not enough vegetarian options for breakfast. Where were the potatoes?

Liked: Close to arena
Disliked: Hotel was Run down, not professional acting staff, outdated, no microwave in room, unfriendly staff was not welcoming, cost was high for a hotel that was outdated and horrible curb appeal.

A bit overpriced for what...

Liked: The hotel is ideally located for anyone who needs to be in downtown Nashville. The room was spacious and clean; basically what you would expect at a Hyatt Place. The breakfast was much better than at other Hyatt Place properties.
Disliked: The hotel wanted me to pay for access to my room at noon, which I refused to do. The staff’s attitude was absolutely contrary to what hospitality is about. I will personally never return to that hotel.
