Disliked: I booked a room at Hyatt Monterrey through Booking.com, where the price was clearly shown in USD. Even when converting to pesos, the total should have matched the USD price shown at the time of booking. However, when I checked out, I was charged in pesos at a much higher rate than expected — far more than what I agreed to.This is completely unacceptable and misleading. The price should not change just because of the currency conversion, especially when the exchange rate they used was not aligned with the actual market rate. I feel cheated and extremely disappointed.I expected better transparency and fairness from an international hotel chain like Hyatt. Be very careful if you plan to book here — you might end up paying much more than what you were quoted.
