Hyatt Place Minneapolis/Eden Prairie

Liked: Location and amenities in order of importance to me: free wifi, free hot breakfast, great location (central to everything), helpful staff, and clean rooms (actually that would be most important).
Disliked: Elevator was broken but was repaired quickly.

Very nice room; nicely set up and comfortable. The staff was so nice and helpful. It was an awesome experience one that my husband and I would do all over again, thank you!

Disliked: Sheets and towels and couch were stained which gave a dirty vibe. QR code in room and website states there was a bar with food but apparently that closed 7 months prior to

Liked: The location was perfect. The room was large, clean and comfortable.
Disliked: Weak shower flow. Very cheap feeling towels. Scratchy towel paper. The breakfast buffet was spartan, not many choices. Front front desk staff was unengaged. Not what I expect from a Hyatt branded facility.

Disliked: I had to ask for toilet paper to put on our bathroom. Figured no big deal, it happens. Pulled out the sofa bed and the sheets were filthy, the mattress on both sides were stained horribly and on one side was blood...not a few drops, a lot. The hotel was full so they couldn't move us. We had started to pack up and find somewhere else but they were able to find another clean mattress. It was late and we had our special needs son with us so we stayed. Tristan, the manager said he would refund both nights if we could have Booking.com call him. (We were booked for both Saturday and Sunday nights. No way in hell we were staying a second night). I've been trying to reach someone at Booking but trying to enjoy my vacation and don't have great reception. Will keep trying. Staff was nice but sometimes the desk people acted like they were put out when people asked questions. Tristan was decent. We loved to Fairfield Inn just across the parking lot and it was clean and the staff was very helpful. We have booked Fairfield again when we come back from a trip to Duluth. Will continue to try and reach Booking to get a refund for the two nights we had booked here.

Eden Prairie a good value!
