Hyatt Place Milwaukee Downtown

Hotel was great staff was great! Hotel hallway smells. Parking was horrible - had to find parking on the street very difficult. Otherwise great stay!

Disliked: Parking.

Liked: Built for its purpose, clean simple business hotel.
Disliked: Valet parking, different company, no espresso machine for breakfast, breakfast is bare basic, no effort made at all, it's to check the boxes

Liked: Clean, spacious, kind desk staff, great location.
Disliked: A bit pricey for me. Secure Parking is valet or about a block away in a ramp. No onsite parking.

Overall pleasant stay at Hyatt

Liked: Our room was spacious, and despite being close to the highway was very quiet. The hotel front desk was kind and accommodating, and the service was excellent. The location was fairly central, and because was not directly downtown, felt easier to navigate. Close to airport, about 20 minute drive, and only a few minutes to downtown or other major areas of Milwaukee. Bed was overall comfortable.
Disliked: As others have mentioned, the overnight parking was $42, however we opted to park on the street for free (you can call a number to have your car put on the "do not ticket overnight" list, which usually covers up to 3 nights!) The room was not "cleaned" appropriately during the day; our bathroom was not vacuumed, and the bed was not particularly made up other than pulling the sheets up.

Disliked: Key to use the elevator? That was kind of annoying. When came to check in ... I was already checked in and a room? They changed rooms and went to see if anyone was in the other. Wasn't too impressed with that.Floor to ceiling window.. 5th floor? Could of lived without that

Convenient location for a Brewers...

Liked: The breakfast was fine. It was well organized and had good operating hours.
Disliked: Nothing.

Exceptional

Liked: The young woman who checked me in was extremely pleasant and helpful. My daughter was graduating from Marquette University at Fiserv Forum so the location was excellent. Breakfast crew was very friendly.
