Hyatt Place Milwaukee Airport

Booked a king size bed but got a queen size. Nobody mentioned this at check-in. When I inquired why this happened I was just told I get whatever is clean first! I asked if the price should get adjusted and then was told kings are the same price as queens - doesn't make sense! Nobody was friendly and the Starbucks in the lobby had a hard time just making a cafe mocha!

Liked: Clean.
Disliked: Did NOT get the King sized bed I booked.

Liked: Staff were very friendly. Close location to airport.
Disliked: Air conditioning was musty smelling. The room and especially bathroom were very dated.

While the hotel is lovely,...

Liked: This is the closest hotel to MKE airport. It was so convenient for a 6am flight.

Liked: The room was very nice. Very quiet even though it was so close to the airport we never heard any planes landing or taking off. Breakfast was good with a nice variety of hot and cold choices. I was a bit disappointed in the restaurant as advertised in the hotel description and amenities made it appear to have a restaurant offering full meals. When we asked about the restaurant upon checking in to the hotel, we were told that they only have a very limited menu. Very disappointing. See

Very good

It met our need, but...

Liked: Our room was good sized and clean.
Disliked: There wasn’t enough room for parking. We went to a baseball game and got back late and there were only 2 parking spots left. We stayed 2 nights and each morning they ran out of food for breakfast and did not restock the food quickly or at all with at least 45 minutes left for breakfast each day. There were a lot of people at breakfast and not enough seating.
