Hyatt Place Ft. Lauderdale/Plantation

One of the worst hotel...

Liked: Staff were very friendly and easy check-in/check-out processes. The lobby area is clean and presentable.
Disliked: The room we were in was in a decrepit state. Generally clean, such as linens and towels, but it is in major need of renovation. Stains all over carpet, marks on walls, finishes of walls/wood fixtures falling apart, A/C and plumbing fixtures in desperate need of replacement, roach-like bug in the bathroom. I was not comfortable in the room and I would have rather paid double what I did to have gotten a decent night’s sleep.

Liked: Front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. I made 2 separate reservations and staff was accommodating and kept me in the same room. Liked the options for breakfast.
Disliked: Bathroom was very small

Liked: The rooms were very spacious, lots of room. Very beautiful hotel smells amazing, when you walk in the door. Nice facilities only downfall is there are alot of big old oak trees surrounding property, lots of leaves in the pool. Very nice stay My husband was able to retrieve most leaves from pool. My 8 year old daughter enjoyed it. Breakfast was good,always stocked lots for everyone to choose from. Scrambled eggs, hardboiled, bacon one day sausage next, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, pancakes french toast and waffles, on rotation we stayed 3 nights so we had everything. very delicious coffee. and some restaurants nearby. we would definitely stay again. All the Staff was so nice and polite.
Disliked: Not much to complain about except there are alot of oak trees so there was lots of leaves in the pool. It didn't bother me or my husband but it did my 8 year old daughter who thought they were bugs. LOL but i assured her they were just leaves my husband removed most of them then she had an amazing time.

Will not stay here again....

Liked: I liked the staff at the front desk. They were all very warm and welcoming.
Disliked: Bugs in our room and bathroom. Only 1 and a half roll of toilet paper for our 3 night 4 day stay. Some of the towels had stains on them. The ice maker on the 3rd floor had dirty ice and little bugs in it. I reported that to the front desk.
