Facilities Great but Pet Fees...

Liked: The Hotel was very nice and in a great location, close to places to eat which was convenient to walk to. Parking was not very convenient but was safe and gated. The Pet fee was outrageous, call before you bring your dog.
Disliked: The pet fee was outrageous and cost me $100 for one night which cost us almost as much as the room itself. Call before you commit to staying here. Otherwise, the hotel was new, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good. The only warm food that was served was hot sausage because an egg delivery never showed. The eggs finally showed once we were leaving but we were not able to take advantage so for us it was bad timing and we had to settle for a cold breakfast.

It was okay and affordable...

Liked: Good location, nice lobby, bar, breakfast area.
Disliked: Arrival and parking not clear, could tell it’s an old hotel that was updated, the room was okay, clean but definitely dated and not remodeled super great. No one at desk when we left, had to call later in day to confirm check out and ask for emailed receipt.

Not what I would expect...

Disliked: Hyatt member and they never offered a different room for a early check in. Was told 3pm and it still wasnt ready. Sidewalk was packed with very loud motorcycles. When walking back from dinner several decided to rev their engines repeatedly. Very annoying and it continued.We love stopping in Florence but we will look for different accommodations.
