Hyatt Place Charleston/Historic District

Do not stay in room 631 on the 6th floor - the fumes out of the shower smell like sulfur.

Disliked: Room 631 - smelled badly of sulfur coming from the bathroom.

Be sure to request a room on the side where there is no construction. Other than that it was a great location and a very nice place. Once construction around there is done I would love to come back.

Liked: Staff was friendly and place was clean.
Disliked: Was awakened at 7:30am by heavy construction - literally pounding steel.

Liked: The location was perfect. Right on King St. Easy to walk everywhere. Rooms were clean and staff very helpful.

Centrally located hotel

Liked: Great location close to restaurants and attractions with a comfortable room.
Disliked: Breakfast was awful and they ran out of towels at the pool. We asked for them to bring more and they never did. The pool was very good, surprised it was not heated or warmed a bit.

Liked: Breakfast was outstanding, with a lot to choose from.Front desk staff, especially Sheena was outstanding. She went above and beyond to help me enjoy my stay with you, especially on the morning of my 70th birthday.
Disliked: The water issue, or lack there of on Monday. No small hanging pull out mirror in the bathroom.
