Hyatt Place Blacksburg-University

Very nice but had one...

Liked: Lovely hotel in a great location. Our room was large with a nice view. The ambiance was very nice, super clean. I think their breakfast was much better than most hotel breakfasts. They actually had fresh fruit. Desk personnel were all very pleasant.
Disliked: I took off one star because of the door between the dressing room and shower/toilet area. It is a very heavy barn door. The handle was not screwed in, but just glued and it fell off with nobody touching it. An even bigger issue was that the door was not secured on the bottom so it would actually sway from the top when opening or closing. Since the door was very heavy I was actually afraid it might fall and hit or push me. We reported this to the desk person when we came down for breakfast.
