Hyatt House Sacramento Airport - Natomas

Great!

Liked: 1/ Location - proximity to SMF 2/ The bar area where you could order food! Worth a good tip. 3/ The concierge added my Hyatt number to the account. Because getting the room through "booking" that number did not appear. I always try for a Hyatt when I travel, and would like SOMEDAY to gert a benefit from all those points I build up. I'll be going to Monterey CA and Milwaukee WI and will try for a Hyatt.
Disliked: The usual compliment of towels were not in the room, I had to phone down for them, but they were delivered within 1/2 hour. NOTE: The faucet handle (when you turn it on) hits the glass mirror, with a clink. This could be a problem!

Liked: The breakfast was great, they have a wide variety of breakfast options. The Staff was very kind and professional. The Interior Decor was beautiful and inviting. the Rooms were very cute and comfortable.
Disliked: The Wifi went out on our last night (we stayed 3 nights) and it was out from maybe 7pm-6:30am the next day. The room we stayed in seemed to not have been fully restocked with paper towels, soap, and Toilet paper. All of the rolls of TP and Paper-towels that were on the stands were clearly used already/half empty so that was really strange.

Disliked: i booked through booking and lost a night stay because Hyatt House wouldn't let me move my reservation up one day due to my flight cancelation. Policy or not you were still getting your money the next night.

Liked: The morning service staff was good. The breakfast was good but could have had a few more choices. The shuttle was on time and the driver was helpful. The morning staff was very good and friendly.
Disliked: The shuttle from the airport to the hotel was very confusing. I asked where the phone was to call HH and airport staff said there wasn't one. I had to take a taxi for $30. When I got to the front desk I asked where the restaurant was and was told they closed one minute ago. I was disappointed that she didn't tell me there was food in the bar and there was a grab and go station (located right by the front desk). I went to bed hungry. I spent about an hour to follow the directions to get Netflick but couldn't do it. Front Desk should be better trained for late arrivals (10 pm).

Extremely disappointing.

Liked: Convenient location. Well lit parking. Greeted with a smile.
Disliked: Breakfast was bad. Most “hot” food was cold. Berries were still frozen. Bacon was not edible. When entering our room it smelled like paint. Dirty/used pillowcases were hanging over the chair. Garbage can liners were laying on floor next to garbage can. Second day we received NO cleaning, even though we were asked at the desk and said yes. We had no coffee, no clean towels, nothing. When I called front desk, they had someone bring linens, and towels. We paid for room service and we’re expected to change our own beds? What a joke. Upon checkout I asked to speak with someone about this, etc. I was given an 800 number to call. No one cared. Very poor. We had already booked another non-refundable stay in July. This is unfortunate. We would never choose a Hyatt again.
