Pretty great but not as...
Liked: I really love this hotel and its amenities. I’ve stayed here before and felt comfortable.
Disliked: I have adopted a dog since last staying here and was excited when it was the first option while looking for pet friendly. However there wasn’t a lot of pet relief areas. It’s nice to have the river near but at night by myself was a bit unnerving and it would be nice if there was a specific area dedicated to pet relief.

Excelent choice and good cost...
Liked: Room is very good with just a few things that needed to be fixed. Bed was confortable but it is getting old (they need to change it soon...). Location is excelent with good choices of restaurant nearby. Breakfast was generous and everyday had a few things different from the previous day.
Disliked: There is no groceries store or pharmacies nearby....

Good service but room was...
Liked: Front desk employees, especially a customer service agent named Wren, were really good. Wren learned that this trip was in celebration of our 42nd anniversary and upgraded us to a one-bedroom unit in honor of the occasion.
Disliked: The room we were assigned was well designed, but had food splatters on the kitchen wall, red colored splatters on the sink in the bath, a very slow draining bathroom sink, windows that had broken handles, etc.

Enjoyed our stay, but will...
Liked: Free breakfasts were very good, not just a continental breakfast that's frequently available in hotels. The location is decent. Easily walkable to paths along the Willamette River, the air tram (~15 minute walk) and some downtown shopping (~20 minute walk). Staff was very responsive to requests for towels, toiletries, etc. The hotel is pet friendly, but I saw no signs of pet hair anywhere in the room. Could see Mt Hood from our room beyond the nearby highways on a clear day.
Disliked: Parking options are nearby garages for ~$25/night, or valet parking for $52/night. I can't imagine the valet service being worth it as there was never than one person manning the position and he was quickly overwhelmed at popular check-in times. The indoor pool is small and very narrow, about the width of two swim lanes, with maybe a half dozen chairs around it. One person in our group used it once during our week stay and never went back. It's not a place to go to relax. Some of the local businesses are closed - likely still post-Covid fallout being felt in 2025.

Very good
Liked: They place was very clean and nice layout
Disliked: The location was in a great spot but parking is very expensive whether on the street in the parking garage a block over or using the valet at the hotel.
