Hyatt House Nashville Downtown / Convention Center

Had a great time in Nashville. The room was excellent, but the staff seemed to be a little neglecting to help people. You want an excellent rating, you gotta earn it.

Liked: The room was great and a wonderful use of space.
Disliked: Tried to get a drink at the bar at 4p.m. on Sunday, but no one was working it. If the bar is closed then put up a bar sign saying CLOSED. The lady working the counter was not helpful and it seemed like I was bothering her to ask her if the bar was even open. I found her and this issue very annoying after being on the road for 4 hours.

Liked: The room was modern, spacious, and even though we didn't use the kitchen, it was great to see that we had the option of a stovetop and even a dishwasher! And huge perk - no noise! Considering how crazy Nashville can get, I was relieved to have a soundproof room and never heard a peep. Pillows were also pretty comfortable. Breakfast was fine, had all the basic essentials and plenty to choose from. The coffee wasn't great, but I live in Europe and am used to much stronger and different style of coffee.
Disliked: There was no coffee for sale at the bar downstairs, which would have been nice to have before a long night out. But across the street, you can get good coffee at a place called The Cafe at Rocketown (which is also a recording studio, event venue, and skatepark).

Liked: I love the location!
Disliked: I didn’t like that I was charged for an extra night. Which cause me not to have access to $400 the entire weekend. The staff continued to give me the run around about releasing my funds! Everyday I had to talk to someone different.

Disliked: Missing the black blind, room was always full of light. I complained when I arrived but nothing was done. If the room is not in condition to be used, don’t rent it.

Liked: The location was good, the elevators were fast, it was clean, the air was cold, and the bed was comfortable. I also thought the free breakfast was pretty good.
Disliked: $45 for parking is too much and the parking spaces were tight! Also they did not furnish bottles of water so if you make coffee in your room, you will need to get the water from the bathroom.
